A few issues bothered me but nothing terrible. This is just a preview! Make time away from her. These are just my thoughts, you don't have to agree here but I am just disappointed with the whole thing. She's the girl he can count on and he'd never do anything to ruin it, until one night he starts seeing her in a new light. I could not get enough of these two. I loved seeing Lauren and Steven work through their changing relationship. I felt that it did not flow as well as it could have.
I totally bought into their friendship starting out platonic, but finally changing into something sizzlingly hot. He's restless, stubborn, slow to trust, and has a decreased sense of self worth. These characters definitely have chemistry and Steven's delicious dirty talk is enough to send anyone over the edge but Lauren does put up a good fight. She is way too precious to him to allow their relationship to be broken by bringing sex into the equation, even he has been lusting after her for a while now. I melted right along with Lauren when he got started.
She holds all men up to his standard and finds them all lacking. One person begged forgiveness, the other said no, you told me to leave. I have a huge secret to tell, so please don't kill me but when I first started reading Jenika's books I couldn't bring myself to like them. I am concerned that this is being said literally, which makes me wonder if you are a captor. The pure beauty of their friendship is one that will linger with you even after their story ends — I would recommend a tissue is handy even though this is novella style in length.
Steven and Lauren have been best friends since they were in elementary school. Together this couple brought plenty heat, and whilst some of the sex scenes were a touch repetitive and their journey fairly predictable, they were likeable and good together. She was the perfect woman with her tiny waist and large breasts. She was beautiful both inside and out and it caused me to view her as rather flat. But the friend-zone wall has always been in place. I loved that their story was told from dual points of view, so you really got to understand where both of the characters were coming from.
How can she trust a drunken night of passion has changed his ways? This is a series that never wavers in its awesomeness. Lauren and Steven are both afraid of losing the best friendship they each have in their lives so pursuing more between them is a no go! If you are a fan of the friends to lovers trope then Say You're Mine by Diane Alberts is the book for you. They had incredible push and pull and I could not wait to see these two stop fighting what they wanted. Steven is actually a really good friend and a half-decent guy when he isn't saying how terrible of a person he is. Steven only does one night stands and Lauren only dates jerks. A night out, a few too many drinks and his focus finally lands on Lauren, his lifelong best friend and person who knows him in every sense Say You're Mine is an enjoyable addition to Diane Albert's Shilling Agency series. Her stories just get better and better.
This is a short read about best friends Felix and Maggie. We experienced slamming hot sex between these two, some serious angst and just the right Brazen touch. But no good deed goes unpunished, and all of a sudden the fiery chemistry that's been brewing between them comes to a head and becomes too much for either one of them to deny. It was a believable story with a virgin hero which I truly love. I gobbled it up like a box of Godiva chocolates and it left with a cheesy and swoony smile on my face when I finished it. The story line is very good and you will not want to stop reading. Steven gets upset with Lauren, things blow up, but I actually love the drama that ensued.
This is the story of their friendship becoming what they both always wanted it to be. This one had quite a bit of drawn out angst, but it was still innocent and sweet. If I were to lose all the world and its treasures, Who cares, let it be as it may, As long as I have you beside me, Ill always be happy that way! I can't give this a great review and I really wanted to, but it was just too blah and meh for me. Lauren, baker, best friend and pining after the one man she will never have. It's up to you to decide which of the above you think is going on, but if is 2 you obviously need to be concious about trying to change the dynamic of your relationship from top to bottom.
The journey these two are on is emotional and made me tear up several times. A few issues bothered me but nothing terrible. Lauren and Steven have been best friends forever but have never crossed the line into anything else. It was a short story and that's good but. Merged review: Jenika Snow promised a story so sweet that it would make our stomach ache. I loved this book so much that I had to start stalking.
Alberts has written one deliciously sexy romance. Hell, he didn't deserve it. Not after what happened on his last tour, the one that made him hate liars and himself. I thought this story was sweet. Alberts has written one deliciously sexy romance.
Let me be yours, and say you're mine. Finally after many years of being the best of friends, they make their relationship official The story had no angst at all. I ran to my nook to purchase the other books, only to find out that I already own all of them. Warning: This story is so sweet and of course dirty it might give you a stomachache, but it will be worth it. It feels like everything's falling apart. I actually really enjoyed it and finished it in one sitting.
